Next week we’ll be at the 2012 Seattle Interactive Conference (also known as SIC) to share some of our experiences, challenges and interactive opinions.
There, we will discuss 3 industry hot topics. They are:
Connected Digital Experiences and a content and context-first approach: On Monday, October 29 at 11:20am – 12:10pm in room 204, Smashing director of strategy, Brian Marr, will explore the concept of connected digital experiences. It’s a content and context-first approach to engaging your customers that will change the way you think about planning your next app, website or product.
Agile Development: On Tuesday, October 30 at 1:10 – 2:00pm in room 302, Smashing CTO, Victor Allen, will be leading a panel discussion on agile development with some of Smashing’s clients and peers from Random House, Mattel, Wieden + Kennedy and Razorfish. They will debate the pros and cons of agile and ways to approach and implement it. Hear how these companies are coming to grips with new ways of planning, executing and supporting projects. Victor and the panel will answer your questions live on-stage so be sure to have your Twitter handles ready and tweet us @smashingideas using the hashtag #AgileDev.
What the %!#&$ did you call me?!: Are you a designer, developer or can you do both? Smashing creative director, Drory Ben-Menachem, will also present on Tuesday, October 30 at 2:20 – 3:10pm in room LL2. He will examine the cross-section between the talented individuals who straddle the designer and developer line. Audience participation will be encouraged, so come ready to chime in with your thoughts and opinions!
Stop by to say hello, give us a high five or simply see what we’re working on to engage everywhere. We’d love to see you!
