Watch Anna Ho, Associate Director of Strategy, take the TEDx stage in Spokane this fall
Associate Director of Strategy, Anna Ho, took the stage at TEDxSpokane this fall to speak about the relationship between empathy and design in understanding markets and cultures.
Watch the full talk and hear Anna explain how we in order to design meaningful experiences for people, must first do two things: understand, then empathize. Behavioral Archetypes—a framework we use at Smashing Ideas—is the best way to do this, helping you grasp the “who does what, when they do it, and why.”
This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. TED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks. TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages. Meanwhile, independently run TEDx events help share ideas in communities around the world.
